Suncho FC's Guillermo Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Martinez in the 10th minute of play. Edgardo Ermengol hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Ignado in the 12th minute of play forced Suncho FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Domingos Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suncho FC's Guillermo Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Ignado in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Instituto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Balendin came free, but Hernan Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Instituto FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Camilo Demario hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Jeremias Eli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suncho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Eli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Dolcet in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingos Hotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hernan Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Guillermo Iigo made a huge save. Aurelio Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Domingos Artal made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Jerrald. Instituto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Ermengol during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Domingos Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Artal to make the kick off. Guillermo Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Suncho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Dolcet came free, but Guillermo Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Suncho FC booed when Instituto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Estevon didn't get a good kick on the ball. From close distance Domingos Artal pressed in the 0-3 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 58 minutes into the game. Domingos Artal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Hernan Jerrald 62 minutes into the match. Froilan Estevon was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th minute, Froilan Estevon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Hotz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Suncho FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 73 minutes into the match, Instituto FC's goalkeeper Hernan Jerrald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Artal. 74 minutes into the match, Suncho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Ignado came free, but Guillermo Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jose Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Instituto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Obano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Instituto FC's Hernan Jerrald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Instituto FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Hotz in the 86th minute of play forced Instituto FC's goalkeeper Hernan Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Bastiaro's late challenge caught a Instituto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the game's 90th minute Instituto FC's Adrian Patrido took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Guillermo Iigo and thus the score was 1-4. Domingos Hotz had several of the Instituto FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Hernan Jerrald as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Suncho FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
