Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Romulo Guerrero made the kick off which started today's match. Natalio Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Inko in the 3rd minute of play. Natalio Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Hunfredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Natalio Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Salvidor in the 9th minute of the match. Godoy Cruz's Natalio Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Inko in the 11th minute of play. Natalio Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Urtsin in the 12th minute of play. Antonio Hunfredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 minutes of play, A.D. BOTAFOGO's Antonio Hunfredo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Ricart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natalio Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play, A.D. BOTAFOGO's Antonio Hunfredo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Ricart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godoy Cruz's Natalio Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Inko in the 37th minute of play. Antonio Hunfredo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Ricart. Natalio Ricart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Romulo Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Inko made a kick off. Norberto Urtsin came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Natalio Ricart could save by the left post. Antonio Hunfredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Natalio Ricart made a huge save. Natalio Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Ricart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Urtsin in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Camilo Inko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Salvidor came free, but Natalio Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Ricart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Hunfredo in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Camilo Inko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natalio Ricart, 0-4. Wilfredo Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Rosendo Azevedo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Godoy Cruz's Uriel Vachon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 83rd minute, Antonio Hunfredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Ricart was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Romulo Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Godoy Cruz's protests and gave Romulo Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. A.D. BOTAFOGO made a substitution. Isaias Ugutz replaced Rogelio Salvidor. In the 86th match minute, Godoy Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Inko in the 91st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Urtsin got free with Natalio Ricart in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Natalio Ricart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Hunfredo. Norberto Urtsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Natalio Ricart made a huge save. A.D. BOTAFOGO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
