BOTAFOGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Servando hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When A.D. BOTAFOGO's Rogelio Salvidor in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Choripan FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wilfredo Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Wilfredo Leocadio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Rogelio Salvidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Mosen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd minute Simon Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Leocadio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Salvidor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquiles Mosen came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogelio Salvidor slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, A.D. BOTAFOGO's Antonio Hunfredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Mosen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Aquiles Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Salvidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Mosen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Salvidor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Leonardo Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Leocadio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Choripan FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Choripan FC's Simon Nikola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Inko made a kick off. When Domingos Arnau fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Choripan FC's protests and gave Domingos Arnau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Domingos Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Leocadio made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Domingos Arnau sent off a good shot on target. Rosendo Azevedo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Norberto Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the A.D. BOTAFOGO defense, Leonardo Servando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Leocadio. The A.D. BOTAFOGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Leocadio should have stopped the shot. Fernan Idacio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernan Idacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.D. BOTAFOGO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Alberto Ciceron shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Domingos Arnau took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Wilfredo Leocadio to make any attempt to save it. Aquiles Mosen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Hunfredo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Choripan FC's Domingos Arnau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Leocadio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquiles Mosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Hunfredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With an all-out effort, Choripan FC's Wilfredo Leocadio threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Servando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Domingos Arnau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Wilfredo Leocadio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wilfredo Leocadio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Arnau went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The Choripan FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Choripan FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
