Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jimeno Ilixo started the match with the kick off. Wilfredo Leocadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Tomi in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Ilixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Leocadio was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Rogelio Salvidor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bonifacio Aurre. Rogelio Salvidor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jimeno Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Iguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Ilixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Leocadio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Deportivo Iguazu's Bonifacio Aurre got control of the ball when Norberto Urtsin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilfredo Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Tomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Angelino Tomi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. BOTAFOGO's Wilfredo Leocadio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelino Tomi scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilfredo Leocadio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Rogelio Salvidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D. BOTAFOGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Iguazu the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Iguazu booed when A.D. BOTAFOGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, A.D. BOTAFOGO's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Tomi came free, but Wilfredo Leocadio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Leocadio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Iguazu's Angelino Tomi. But to his dismay, Angelino Tomi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Bonifacio Aurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Inko in the 45th minute of play.

Clodoveo Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Wilfredo Leocadio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Tomi in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Leocadio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Iguazu's Jimeno Ilixo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfredo Leocadio. That made the score 2-4 after 55 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the game, Angelino Tomi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilfredo Leocadio. Angelino Tomi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Wilfredo Leocadio was a little too slow when Angelino Tomi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-6. Jimeno Ilixo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wilfredo Leocadio firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Hunfredo in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Bonifacio Aurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bonifacio Aurre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Inko's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Deportivo Iguazu's Bonifacio Aurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Salvidor in the 94th minute of play. Norberto Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Iguazu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
