Clodoveo Teofilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picapiedras FC. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Reynaldo Egun sped through EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clodoveo Teofilio. Esteban Abel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Argoitz in the 8th minute of play forced EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE's goalkeeper Clodoveo Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Roberto Teofilio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Ibañez, 1-1. Cleto Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Clodoveo Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Ibañez was a little too slow when Roberto Teofilio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 24th minute Nereo Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Picapiedras FC's Amadeo Urtsin got a free kick in the 25th minute. Clodoveo Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Egun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Pelagius. The EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Picapiedras FC were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Egun to strike the kick off in the second half. Picapiedras FC's Juan Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Teofilio in the 51st minute of play. Picapiedras FC were furious when Matias Berto was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Picapiedras FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE:s goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE. Abel Nalo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juan Ibañez. 3-3. Clodoveo Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Laurgain in the 61st minute of play. Leandro Pelagius was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leandro Pelagius hit a great ball. Clodoveo Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Juan Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Peru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Peru hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Roberto Teofilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Ibañez having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Clodoveo Florinio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Ibañez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. After a rather tough play, Picapiedras FC's Cleto Asier got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Laurgain in the 87th minute of play forced EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE's goalkeeper Clodoveo Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Obano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Picapiedras FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edelmiro Argoitz hit a great ball. When Roberto Teofilio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Teofilio couldn't finish the play. EL REGRESO DEL DECADENTE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Picapiedras FC for a fine match.
