After a rather tough play, sheriff f.c.'s Ivan Enol got a free kick in the 15th minute. Virgilio Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Matthew having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Matei in the 24th minute of play forced sheriff f.c.'s goalkeeper Faustino Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Ivan Enol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sheriff f.c. and the Chucul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chucul booed when sheriff f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Enol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Gregory in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Shepherd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustino Shepherd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Frantzes went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Mario Distiratsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Gregory during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of sheriff f.c. booed when Chucul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mario Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. sheriff f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Distiratsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erubiel Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Bordat in the 38th minute of the match. Everardo Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chucul's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Mario Distiratsu scored to the left of an out of position Erubiel Matthew, making the score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Gaskon during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mario Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Erubiel Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Adan Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yelle Verelst fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sheriff f.c.'s protests and gave Yelle Verelst a yellow card for diving instead. Romulo Matei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Faustino Shepherd firmly grabbed it by the left post. 97 minutes into the game, Mario Distiratsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Erubiel Matthew was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chucul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for sheriff f.c..
