Palmas's Honorio Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Cruz in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Bera UFC booed when Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Eulalio Sabino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorio Frederico skillfully saved the ball. Marcial Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Hug in the 9th minute of play. Laureano Micael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palmas's Claudio Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palmas's Zacarias Pagomari shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcial Berbiz but with some difficulty. 19 minutes into the game, Benjamin Tristan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bera UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bera UFC's Benjamin Tristan got a free kick in the 19th minute. Alfredo Hug received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Berbiz came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Hug slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Marcial Berbiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bera UFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfredo Hug 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Bera UFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Alfredo Hug scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Berbiz, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Hug in the 37th minute of play forced Bera UFC's goalkeeper Marcial Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palmas's zone, Laureano Micael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Frederico came out of the goal and Laureano Micael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Berbiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Policarpio in the 43rd minute. Bera UFC's Marcial Berbiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Hug in the 46th minute of play. Benjamin Tristan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The wind increased when Alfredo Hug made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Alfredo Hug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Berbiz. Bera UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Hug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Marcial Berbiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Bera UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Oier came free, but Marcial Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmas's goalkeeper Honorio Frederico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Delmiro Pitin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Berbiz. Bera UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Pitin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Marcial Berbiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Ignado in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Delmiro Pitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Berbiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 82 minutes into the game, Palmas's Alfredo Hug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Berbiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 90th minute Delmiro Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Adrian Policarpio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Marcial Berbiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
