In the 9th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO DE MADRID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO DE MADRID's zone, Laureano Micael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Abar came out of the goal and Laureano Micael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Ekialde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Berbiz. Bera UFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucas Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Berbiz having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Haroldo Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Ekialde to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Ekialde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Berbiz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Camilo Frances scored 0-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Abar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Frances's late challenge caught a CLUB ATLETICO DE MADRID's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Frances helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bera UFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Camilo Frances hit a great ball.
