Tocata AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza Maritima the free kick. After 4 played minutes Tocata AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Bihar. 5 minutes into the match, Esperanza Maritima's Atilano Distiratsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Mambru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romulo Remir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Tiburcio Mambru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 9th minute Maximo Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esperanza Maritima's Nicasio Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Darien in the 14th minute of play. Romulo Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nicasio Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Distiratsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Esperanza Maritima's zone, Maximo Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Pacorro came out of the goal and Maximo Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esperanza Maritima's Atilano Distiratsu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Remir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Mambru made a huge save. When Maximo Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Tocata AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Petrigai couldn't finish the play. Esperanza Maritima's Nicasio Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Darien in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tocata AFC's Gaston Pacho got a free kick in the 38th minute. Romulo Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tiburcio Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Hulberto's late challenge caught a Tocata AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Hulberto helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Marcelino Darien spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Esperanza Maritima's goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Romulo Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza Maritima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Atilano Distiratsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tiburcio Mambru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingo Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Adan Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Eleuterio Edorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Remir scored 2-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Mambru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
