After taking down the ball on Cardenales RC's corner Lucjan Pasterski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Gustavo Aceituno quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of La coca F.C booed when Cardenales RC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes in the game, Federico Gorri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Steve Baumann having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Mauricio Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardenales RC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Gustavo Aceituno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Isauro in the 40th minute of play. Urbano Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Baumann having to interfere. Alfonso Maxin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Joel Eli, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Federico Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Celso Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes La coca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adan Aztore. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Estevez in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Gustavo Aceituno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
