The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Mantzio helped the player get up and apologised. When Lino Montae came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the la12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Montae couldn't finish the play. Ceferino Gartzi made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Pablo Toro sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Toro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Ceferino Gartzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Valentin Sauveur got a free kick in the 20th minute. Roque Udalaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, la12's Ceferino Gartzi got control of the ball when Pablo Toro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, la12's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valentin Sauveur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 30th minute, Emilio Maureo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Gartzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With an all-out effort, Inter Miami's Ceferino Gartzi threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ariel Rik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute, Cayetano Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Guerrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Ipar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Guerrero ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Miami's Pablo Toro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ceferino Gartzi. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Montae in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, Elvio Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

la12's attentive Santo Guerrero managed to snatch the ball when Gaudencio Isadore made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Santo Guerrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. la12's Ceferino Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Toro in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Pablo Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Ipar having to interfere. After some careless play in the la12 defense, Emilio Maureo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Gartzi. The la12 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Gartzi should have stopped the shot. Ceferino Gartzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Elvio Medina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Ipar. The goal made the score 4-1. In the 82nd minute Valentin Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goalkeeper Enrique Ipar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Montae. Ceferino Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Pablo Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Valentin Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when la12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Inter Miami players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
