Nicasio Pacorro came out of the goal and Adan Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Lauaxeta charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Lauaxeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Lauaxeta hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Urbano Poz might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Pacorro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Poz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 minutes, Segundo Milio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La coca F.C and the Esperanza Maritima players grew even worse after the yellow card. Segundo Milio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Nicasio Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nicasio Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Gorri in the 35th minute of play. Esperanza Maritima's Atilano Distiratsu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Atilano Distiratsu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, La coca F.C's Rafael Micael got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, La coca F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Remir came free, but Carlos Gustavo Aceituno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, La coca F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Aztore to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Aztore during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esperanza Maritima's Nicasio Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Gorri in the 80th minute of play. Romulo Remir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Gustavo Aceituno having to make a save. After a rather tough play, La coca F.C's Hermengildo Lluc got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Benigno Chico sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La coca F.C's Carlos Gustavo Aceituno didn't even have to move. 85 minutes into the match, La coca F.C's Urbano Poz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Pacorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urbano Poz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Nicasio Pacorro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Urbano Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
