The tension between the Inter Miami and the Antilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antilla made a substitution. Prudencio Gilen replaced Clodoveo Mitxaut. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Toro got free with Tomás Frechoso in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Pablo Toro got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomás Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Rik in the 38th minute of the match. Eulalio Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ariel Rik to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rafael Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Antilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Bertol couldn't finish the play. Gaudencio Garaile did an outstanding performance 66 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Enrique Ipar in the goal. Enrique Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Baristo in the 69th minute of play. Emilio Maureo's late challenge caught a Antilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Maureo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Maureo to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Valentin Sauveur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Frechoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Antilla were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Inter Miami's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnoldo Maura took the corner. 92 minutes into the game, Inter Miami's Pablo Toro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Frechoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Inter Miami could leave the field as winners, despite Antilla having more of the ball for most of the match.
