The supporters of Sevillistas booed when Olympique Olavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olympique Olavarría's Julian Conrao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Olavarría from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Celedonio Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Olympique Olavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Furman came free, but Julian Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celedonio Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olympique Olavarría's Celedonio Manex got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Gaitano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julian Conrao came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Gaitano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Olympique Olavarría's Julian Conrao got control of the ball when Candido Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Manex in the 24th minute of play forced Sevillistas's goalkeeper Guaberto Frasquito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Frasquito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Manex in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Olympique Olavarría's Julian Conrao got control of the ball when Candido Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Conrao made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Candido Gaitano sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 46 minutes, Freddy Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sevillistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Tano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Gaitano to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Sevillistas's Candido Gaitano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Conrao was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sevillistas's goalkeeper Guaberto Frasquito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Celedonio Manex managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Olavarría's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Manex was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Frasquito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervasio Martinez might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Frasquito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Martinez ran back to his position shaking his head. Julian Conrao came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Sevillistas's Candido Gaitano. But to his dismay, Candido Gaitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 64 minutes into the game, Raimundo Haimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Olavarría's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sevillistas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Olympique Olavarría's Raimundo Haimar got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Olympique Olavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Gaitano came free, but Julian Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Olympique Olavarría's Gervasio Martinez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guaberto Frasquito. Guaberto Frasquito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. 77 minutes into the match, Olympique Olavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Gaitano came free, but Julian Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olympique Olavarría's Rubén Marcos got a free kick in the 78th minute. Julian Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Sevillistas's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Manex came free, but Guaberto Frasquito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympique Olavarría's Gervasio Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Candido Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Conrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Olympique Olavarría was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Martinez to maneuver through the defense. When Teobaldo Furman fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sevillistas's protests and gave Teobaldo Furman a yellow card for diving instead. Olympique Olavarría's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
