Monserrat's Leandro Bidun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Monserrat from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes of play, Monserrat's Elpidio Ursino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Nesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Elpidio Ursino fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monserrat's protests and gave Elpidio Ursino a yellow card for diving instead. Gregorio Sustrai ran back to his position shaking his head. Atilano Cordera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Bidun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Electro F.C's Delmiro Txilar was substituted for Artemio Joey. Delmiro Txilar took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Bidun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Gerazan got free with Geronimo Nesto in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Atilano Cordera came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Electro F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Cordera couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Lázaro Ruisko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Bidun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Delmiro Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Leandro Bidun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
