Elpidio Ursino started the match with the kick off. Chorrillos FC- OFF's Melquiades Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Gerazan in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Chorrillos FC- OFF booed when Monserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Chorrillos FC- OFF defense, Venancio Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Benet. The Chorrillos FC- OFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Benet should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Emilio Salamon in the 18th minute really tested Leandro Bidun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 25th minute, Modesto Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Monserrat's Leandro Bidun got control of the ball when Silverio Taurino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro Bidun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Laurendi in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Chorrillos FC- OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Salamon to maneuver through the defense. Chorrillos FC- OFF's Melquiades Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Gerazan in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Laurendi in the 41st minute of play forced Monserrat's goalkeeper Leandro Bidun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Monserrat's Cecilio Gerazan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Benet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Modesto Salbatore hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Monserrat were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Taurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Marcelino Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Cecilio Gerazan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Benet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Cecilio Gerazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Melquiades Benet made a huge save. Jesus Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Silverio Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorrillos FC- OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Taurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Bidun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Benet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elpidio Ursino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Monserrat's Elpidio Ursino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Benet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 82nd minute, Marco Ostots sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chorrillos FC- OFF's Melquiades Benet didn't even have to move. Marcelino Gipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Melquiades Benet made a huge save. Venancio Montrell scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Benet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melquiades Benet made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cecilio Gerazan sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Chorrillos FC- OFF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Emilio Salamon hit a great ball. Cecilio Gerazan struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Melquiades Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monserrat.
