Alex Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chapaleofú FC's Higinio Vasco got a free kick in the 13th minute. Sebastian Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, MC5's Casimiro Velasco got a free kick in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Chapaleofú FC's goal looked a bit too open when 김 명 came free, but Elpidio Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Illan struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Elpidio Gumaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MC5. In the 31st match minute, Chapaleofú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Gilabert shot a long shot in the 32nd minute and a light blocked Elpidio Gumaro hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3. If Bonifacio Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Gumaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Gilabert's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Victoriano Gilabert made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Chapaleofú FC's Elpidio Gumaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victoriano Gilabert made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Chapaleofú FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Artal. 55 minutes into the match, 김 명 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Gumaro. Chapaleofú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 김 명 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 67th minute, 김 명 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Gumaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Bonifacio Osoro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Chapaleofú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Osoro couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Gilabert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 76th playminute. After 78 minutes of play Chapaleofú FC's Higinio Vasco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes into the match, 김 명 notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Chapaleofú FC's Elpidio Gumaro. Elpidio Gumaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Gilabert took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Gumaro. Elpidio Gumaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Elpidio Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 명 in the 94th minute of the match. Elpidio Gumaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victoriano Gilabert in the 95th minute. When the match was over MC5 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chapaleofú FC throughout the match.
