Jorge Mino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Weterio in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Weterio. If Aquiles Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Weterio charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Weterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Bad Boys got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Weterio. Jorge Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Aquiles Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Luzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdullatif Budak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Bad Boys got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Heli. In the 40th minute Aquiles Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullatif Budak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Luzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdullatif Budak having to interfere. When Pablo Quinto came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Progresso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Quinto couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Weterio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Weterio in the 58th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Kusko's late challenge caught a Progresso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Kusko helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Bad Boys got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Kusko. The supporters of Progresso booed when Bad Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abdullatif Budak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdullatif Budak made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Aquiles Luzea sent off a good shot on target. Aquiles Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Weterio came free, but Jorge Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdullatif Budak made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Aquiles Luzea sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Heli hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The long shot by Angelino Orlin in the 78th minute really tested Abdullatif Budak's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Berdaitz during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bad Boys's Esteban Kusko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristo Montae, made in the 95th minute of the game.
