Bonifacio Cresenciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bernardino Tallia made a huge save. Bagual's Romulo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Manilan in the 60th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Cresenciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bernardino Tallia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Angel Manilan came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Unquillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Manilan couldn't finish the play. If Angel Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Miliano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Muc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 96 played minutes, Unquillo's Rolando Uzuri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romulo Muc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unquillo reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Unquillo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bagual.
