One of Desalineados FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Annuit Cœptis FC:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Annuit Cœptis FC. Cesar Mundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gabriel Montrel. 1-4. If Jonatan Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Annuit Cœptis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Valente came free, but Jose Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desalineados FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Annuit Cœptis FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramon Niva took the corner. Emilio Aguilera thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jose Honrio, a very annoying self made goal in the 79th minute which led to 2-4. Ulises Urtungo's late challenge caught a Desalineados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Urtungo helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Annuit Cœptis FC! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Desalineados FC. Ramon Niva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jose Honrio. 3-4. Joaquin Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Raul Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 95th minute, Joaquin Shantala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. A hard shot by Ulises Urtungo from long distance, 98 minutes into the match, got Gabriel Montrel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Annuit Cœptis FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
