Spectators: 6518 (Terracing: 5518, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulises Urtungo started the match with the kick off. Fabio Bergomi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the game, Gregorio Giraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annuit Cœptis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anguilan the free kick. If Fabio Bergomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Luciano Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anguilan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anguilan's Tobias Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Urtungo in the 27th minute of play. When Omar Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguilan's protests and gave Omar Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Anguilan's Omar Federigo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gregorio Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tobias Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Anguilan's zone, Ulises Urtungo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Txaran came out of the goal and Ulises Urtungo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joaquin Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Joaquin Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Txaran came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Annuit Cœptis FC's Ulises Urtungo. But to his dismay, Ulises Urtungo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Anguilan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Annuit Cœptis FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Bergomi was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Bergomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jose Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Rayman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Tobias Txaran 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Annuit Cœptis FC's Emilio Aguilera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emilio Aguilera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Annuit Cœptis FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emilio Aguilera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luciano Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Anguilan's Tobias Txaran got control of the ball when Joaquin Shantala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquin Shantala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Tobias Txaran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joaquin Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Txaran having to interfere. Annuit Cœptis FC's Gregorio Giraldo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tobias Txaran but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Omar Federigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anguilan's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Federigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Honrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Annuit Cœptis FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
