In the 13th minute, Ovidio Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Baldomiro Koldobika hit a great ball. Marciano Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Padrin de Chapaleufu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Geofredo couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Ovidio Geofredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marciano Gartzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santos Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jairo Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapanay F.c. Marciano Gartzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marciano Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Santos Eguntsenti made the kick off in the second half. Jairo Haimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Gartzea went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Emilio Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Eguntsenti in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Koldobika notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chapanay F.c's Marciano Gartzi. Marciano Gartzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Eguntsenti in the 65th minute of the match. Marciano Gartzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Haimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Marciano Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapanay F.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Gartzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Padrin de Chapaleufu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
