The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Aquilino Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Haimar having to interfere. Jose Beltza lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 8 minutes into the game, one of C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aquilino Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Charly defense, Ovidio Geofredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Matia. The Club Atlético Charly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Matia should have stopped the shot. Aquilino Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Koldobika in the 26th minute of the match. Baltasar Ospetsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aquilino Roldan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Charly's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Roldan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Samuel Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Geofredo in the 37th minute of play. Ovidio Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Maximo Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Geofredo in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Geofredo in the 43rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Charly's goalkeeper Maximo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aquilino Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 55th minute, Wilfredo Eliazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Haimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Cordarius's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes, Wilfredo Eliazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu and the Club Atlético Charly players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's Wilfredo Eliazar got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Samuel Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Charly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Cordarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes of play, Club Atlético Charly's Aquilino Roldan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Haimar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximo Matia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Geofredo in the 65th minute. Ovidio Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Koldobika. A collision led to C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Freddy Celino hit a great ball. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's Fermin Gombal suffered a concussion in the 74th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 74 minutes into the game, Samuel Cordarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Charly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu the free kick. Samuel Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Freddy Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Jairo Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Charly. After some careless play in the C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Haimar should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Aquilino Roldan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Aquilino Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jairo Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Charly's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
