In the 23rd minute, Ramon Niva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Don Bosco's Emanuel Ivarsson got control of the ball when Ramon Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cristobal Eusko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Desalineados FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Valente. After a defensive mix-up in Desalineados FC's zone, Gláuber Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Montrel came out of the goal and Gláuber Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Sal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Desalineados FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Raul Valente hit a great ball. Raul Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Paulino Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Montrel came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Don Bosco's Mario Handi. But to his dismay, Mario Handi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Desalineados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Sal came free, but Gabriel Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
