With a little luck, Don Bosco's Emanuel Ivarsson got control of the ball when Ovidio Geofredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Haimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Sal went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Ovidio Geofredo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Don Bosco's Emanuel Ivarsson. Emanuel Ivarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baldomiro Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Emanuel Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Beltza hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Koldobika. Erasmo Rosalio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jairo Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Bosco. After 35 minutes, Jose Beltza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu and the Don Bosco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Don Bosco booed when C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Don Bosco's Erasmo Rosalio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Haimar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulino Sal might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Haimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Sal ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Sal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's Jairo Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Sal in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Don Bosco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Don Bosco's goalkeeper Emanuel Ivarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulino Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasmo Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Sal to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolomej Halák during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Don Bosco defense, Ovidio Geofredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Ivarsson. The Don Bosco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Ivarsson should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's goalkeeper Jairo Haimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Rosalio. In the 64th minute, Leonides Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Haimar having to interfere. Emanuel Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Baldomiro Koldobika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Koldobika in the 80th minute of the match. Emanuel Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Geofredo in the 83rd minute of play. Paulino Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jairo Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87th play minutes Erasmo Rosalio shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Jairo Haimar and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Erasmo Rosalio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
