Ezequiel Munio made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Santos Loren immediately put the ball in play. Cipriano Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Santos Loren sent off a good shot on target. Santos Loren in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cipriano Barbosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Higinio Ledesma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Teyo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Santos Loren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cipriano Barbosa made a huge save. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Detonados defense, Higinio Ledesma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Teyo. The Club Atlético Detonados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Teyo should have stopped the shot. Santos Loren took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Barbosa. Cipriano Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Octavio Teyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Ledesma's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Higinio Ledesma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Teyo having to make a save. Albano Oidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Ledesma might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Teyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Ledesma ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Ledesma was the one to do the kick off. Octavio Teyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Ledesma's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Cipriano Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Loren went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Justo Paublo's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Detonados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Paublo helped the player get up and apologised. 79 minutes into the match, Lucio Ponc notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Anguilan AFC's Cipriano Barbosa. Cipriano Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cipriano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Ponc in the 82nd minute of the match. Anguilan AFC's Cipriano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Ponc in the 96th minute of play.
