Samuel Chale charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Chale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Club Atlético Detonados got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Chale. In the 4th minute of the match Fausto Ado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Teyo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hermengildo Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Teyo having to interfere. Ismael Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Ponc in the 13th minute of play. Ismael Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Ponc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Dunixi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Loren in the 17th minute. A collision led to Comechingones getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Antonio Nevada hit a great ball. Ismael Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Comechingones's Ismael Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Ponc in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Comechingones's Antonio Nevada got a free kick in the 30th minute. A hard shot 32 in the game by Lucio Ponc from a close distance when the talented Ismael Dunixi managed to make a qualified save. Comechingones's players were relieved. When Club Atlético Detonados's Lucio Ponc in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Comechingones's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Comechingones's zone, Santos Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Dunixi came out of the goal and Santos Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Rafel during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Marco Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Bernardino Blasco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Dunixi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santos Loren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Dunixi having to make a save. When Santos Loren came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Club Atlético Detonados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Loren couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hermengildo Feo made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play Comechingones's Marco Rafel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes Comechingones got a freekick which was hit by Marco Rafel. Adrian Fonso struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ismael Dunixi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Detonados. After some careless play in the Comechingones defense, Santos Loren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Dunixi. The Comechingones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Dunixi should have stopped the shot. Hector Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Teyo having to interfere. In the 65th minute Lucio Ponc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Antonio Nevada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comechingones and the Club Atlético Detonados players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Antonio Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Octavio Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Comechingones got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Bidari. In the 80th match minute, Comechingones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Feo to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Lucio Ponc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ismael Dunixi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Comechingones's Antonio Nevada got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Club Atlético Detonados booed when Comechingones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Comechingones's Ismael Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Loren in the 96th minute of play.
