Ildefonso Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Batista having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Marcos Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Bemabe in the 28th minute of play forced Catúa's goalkeeper Vladimiro Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catúa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Desiderio Bemabe 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Catúa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Desiderio Bemabe scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Batista, making the score, 3-0. Vladimiro Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Vladimiro Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Bemabe in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Desiderio Bemabe sped through Catúa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladimiro Batista. After 66 played minutes, Catúa's Hector Erruki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Aballe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catúa reached it. Marco Torres hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Inko struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Vladimiro Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraní FC. 78 minutes into the game, Paraní FC's Desiderio Bemabe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimiro Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Desiderio Bemabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Bemabe in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Donato Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Paraní FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Gilesindo. Marciano Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Mero in the 93rd minute of the match. Donato Alfonso was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, Catúa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Paraní FC were the better team. Paraní FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
