Cosme Bixintxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Emesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Bixintxo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeronimo Emesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Viviano in the 18th minute of the match. Cosme Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Emesto having to interfere. In the 21st minute Gaston Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maximino Ostots fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZlcdtm's protests and gave Maximino Ostots a yellow card for diving instead. Maximino Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jacobo Cheche took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eustacio Gasteiz. MZlcdtm's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute Gaston Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Montes's late challenge caught a MZlcdtm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruperto Montes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Palmarcito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Montes to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Emesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Viviano went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Bixintxo to make the kick off. Jeronimo Emesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Guilabertus in the 52nd minute. The tension between the MZlcdtm and the Palmarcito players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Palmarcito's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Bixintxo came free, but Jeronimo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Emesto made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cosme Bixintxo sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Ruperto Montes made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Gasteiz. MZlcdtm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cosme Bixintxos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Jeronimo Emesto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 96th minute, but Jeronimo Emesto got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Palmarcito hanging dry this time. MZlcdtm played a much better game than Palmarcito and deserved their victory. The Palmarcito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
