The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Peio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Báez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Peio to maneuver through the defense. When Mario Jardel came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the ACF Cocciuto 1993 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Jardel couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Verner Klemensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ACF Cocciuto 1993's Urbano Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ACF Cocciuto 1993 from getting a goal against them. Urbano Tristan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evripidis Papadimitriou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Beccan Sheridan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Jardel's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Evripidis Papadimitriou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Verner Klemensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Tristan. ACF Cocciuto 1993's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Klemensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Evripidis Papadimitriou took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Tristan. Urbano Tristan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Báez's Fernando Darien was substituted for Hipolito Bazil. After a rather tough play, Báez's Clemente Socorro got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Báez's Rogelio Dei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urbano Tristan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Verner Klemensson's late challenge caught a ACF Cocciuto 1993's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Verner Klemensson helped the player get up and apologised. Verner Klemensson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Vilhelm Lövskog put in a rough tackle. 64 minutes into the game, one of ACF Cocciuto 1993:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Báez. Saul Senen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Urbano Tristan. 4-0. Tata Brown kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, ACF Cocciuto 1993's Mario Jardel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beccan Sheridan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Mario Jardel took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beccan Sheridan. Beccan Sheridan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mario Jardel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Báez's Beccan Sheridan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mario Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nico Otamendi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Báez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evripidis Papadimitriou to maneuver through the defense. Mario Jardel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Beccan Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Báez had played much better football throughout.
