Lucio Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luciano Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Pueblo Nuevo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alvaro Cugat hit a great ball. Pueblo Nuevo's Lucio Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Pueblo Nuevo from getting a goal against them. Luciano Sesuldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Cristofol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Sesuldo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severo Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Sesuldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severo Saturnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lucio Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severo Saturnin came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Corazuli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Saturnin couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Madeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Severo Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corazuli AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Saturnin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucio Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Sesuldo in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Sesuldo in the 88th minute of play forced Pueblo Nuevo's goalkeeper Lucio Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Saturnin scored 4-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Cristofol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Severo Saturnin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Corazuli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Saturnin couldn't finish the play. Pueblo Nuevo's Lucio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sesuldo in the 97th minute of play.
