Rolando Luken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Carlos Padro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gualeguaychú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furia Verde Fobal Clus the free kick. Rolando Luken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Vito in the 39th minute of play. Gualeguaychú's Rolando Luken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Arlo in the 41st minute of play. Bernardino Isauro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Gualeguaychú got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Maraman. In the 47th match minute, Gualeguaychú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. Furia Verde Fobal Clus's Natalio Theodore was substituted for Ovidio Vito. After a rather tough play, Gualeguaychú's Isidro Magdaleno got a free kick in the 48th minute. Natalio Theodore scored 0-2 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Luken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Monte was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Gualeguaychú's Rolando Luken got control of the ball when Carlos Padro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Gualeguaychú's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Ongile came free, but Rolando Luken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualeguaychú's Justino Betadur got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Justino Betadur off the ground. A collision led to Gualeguaychú getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Justino Betadur hit a great ball. Natalio Theodore took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Luken. Rolando Luken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Natalio Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rolando Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Luken was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomás Hondo. Isidoro Arlo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Isidoro Arlo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Luken, 0-6. Rolando Luken made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Carlos Padro sent off a good shot on target. Gualeguaychú's Rolando Luken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Gualeguaychú from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rolando Luken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gualeguaychú getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marcos Joachim hit a great ball. When the match was over Furia Verde Fobal Clus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gualeguaychú throughout the match.
