In the 22nd match minute, MAKUNA MATATA 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Frutos to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Americo Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, MAKUNA MATATA 2's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Santana came free, but Rafael Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAKUNA MATATA 2's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elias Oliverios was slow to take the kick. During this time Águilas Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Águilas Futbol Club's Honorio Gonsalvo to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Dolcet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roberto Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the game, Honorio Gonsalvo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAKUNA MATATA 2 the free kick. Honorio Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Alfredo Frutos in the 38th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Haroldo Chesus's left hand side. Haroldo Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Donzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Donzel to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, MAKUNA MATATA 2's Americo Donzel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Chesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Frutos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Americo Donzel made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Chesus. Águilas Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Águilas Futbol Club's Haroldo Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Inautzi in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Águilas Futbol Club's Nicasio Cruz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Haroldo Chesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Inautzi in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Donzel in the 80th minute of play forced Águilas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Haroldo Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Pascual Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Haroldo Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Águilas Futbol Club's zone, Roberto Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Chesus came out of the goal and Roberto Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Chesus having to interfere. Haroldo Chesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Donzel went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MAKUNA MATATA 2 had played much better football throughout.
