When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Florentino Louis sped through Sociedad de Fomento Pug's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Hug. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Berart in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Hug saved Sociedad de Fomento Pug from getting behind. If Freddy Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Abastas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Berart scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Hug, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Jacob charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Jacob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
