Pueblo Nuevo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Abastas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lucio Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Abastas in the 12th minute of the match. Erubiel Mede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ruperto Hug made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sociedad de Fomento Pug's Isaias Mosen got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Erubiel Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Freddy Abastas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sociedad de Fomento Pug fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Sociedad de Fomento Pug's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mundo came free, but Ruperto Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sociedad de Fomento Pug's Ruperto Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mundo in the 31st minute of play. Ruperto Hug was a little too slow when Erubiel Mede got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-2. The audience was convinced that Freddy Abastas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Cristofol was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Freddy Abastas made a precise shot to the right of Lucio Cristofol. Pueblo Nuevo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Mundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Cugat hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, Pueblo Nuevo's Godofredo Dacio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Hug was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 58 played minutes Pueblo Nuevo got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cugat. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pueblo Nuevo's goalkeeper Lucio Cristofol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddy Abastas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Lucio Cristofol made a huge save. In the 75th minute Santiago Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Sociedad de Fomento Pug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Mosen to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Hug having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblo Nuevo's zone, Freddy Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Cristofol came out of the goal and Freddy Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Abastas in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Teodosio Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Sociedad de Fomento Pug players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
