After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Lázaro Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.BEN-HUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Nastasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Madeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matias Iraunkor might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Madeo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Iraunkor ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Iraunkor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Madeo came out and tried to block the shot, but Matias Iraunkor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. C.S.BEN-HUR's Alejo Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sesuldo in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Nastasio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, C.S.BEN-HUR's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Sesuldo came free, but Alejo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Severo Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Joaquin Jakes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.BEN-HUR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corazuli AFC the free kick. The supporters of Corazuli AFC booed when C.S.BEN-HUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.BEN-HUR's zone, Luciano Sesuldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Petrigai came out of the goal and Luciano Sesuldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lázaro Nastasio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alejo Petrigai came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Corazuli AFC's Luciano Sesuldo. But to his dismay, Luciano Sesuldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of C.S.BEN-HUR booed when Corazuli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Oliveiro in the 59th minute of play forced Corazuli AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Madeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute of the match, Luciano Sesuldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejo Petrigai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 66 minutes of play, C.S.BEN-HUR's Matias Iraunkor made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Madeo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 minutes, Luciano Sesuldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corazuli AFC and the C.S.BEN-HUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Corazuli AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. Matias Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Madeo having to interfere. With a little luck, C.S.BEN-HUR's Alejo Petrigai got control of the ball when Artemio Quinton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejo Petrigai made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Severo Saturnin sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Matias Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.S.BEN-HUR players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
