Ruperto Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Txomin in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Isaias Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Abastas in the 11th minute of play forced Córdoba City FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Lugo's late challenge caught a Sociedad de Fomento Pug's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. Alejandro Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Córdoba City FC's Donato Txomin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Sociedad de Fomento Pug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Mosen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Alejandro Lugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Abastas made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Córdoba City FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Dabi. In the 55th minute, Freddy Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Angelo Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sociedad de Fomento Pug. The referee gave Córdoba City FC a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. Augusto Galindo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Fidel Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Perrando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Abastas went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Córdoba City FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
