The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alejo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Primeiro in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.S.BEN-HUR defense, Laureano Gorbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Petrigai. The C.S.BEN-HUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Petrigai should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Laureano Gorbea notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.S.BEN-HUR's Alejo Petrigai. Alejo Petrigai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.S.BEN-HUR's Alejo Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Gorbea in the 18th minute of play. Alejo Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Sadurni in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Laureano Gorbea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nequen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Laureano Gorbea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alejo Petrigai. C.S.BEN-HUR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laureano Gorbea took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejo Petrigai. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Alejo Petrigai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alejo Petrigai made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ricardo Sadurni sent off a good shot on target. Generoso Primeiro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Alejo Petrigai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nequen FC. In the 63rd minute, Nequen FC's Laureano Gorbea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alejo Petrigai. Alejo Petrigai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Alejo Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Nequen FC booed when C.S.BEN-HUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, C.S.BEN-HUR's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Gorbea came free, but Alejo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Sadurni got free with Alejo Petrigai in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.S.BEN-HUR's Alejo Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Gorbea in the 88th minute of play. C.S.BEN-HUR's Alejo Petrigai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save C.S.BEN-HUR from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Primeiro in the 91st minute of play forced C.S.BEN-HUR's goalkeeper Alejo Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
