Boca Juniors's Efthimis Karkavilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Mendez in the 40th minute of play. Nereo Ranolfo's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Etxepare made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Eulalio Valiente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ainārs Pelnis. Bilardistas del Bidón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Valiente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After having played for 57 minutes, Leandro Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilardistas del Bidón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Olayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efthimis Karkavilas made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Leandro Olayo sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Bilardistas del Bidón's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ospin came free, but Ainārs Pelnis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ainārs Pelnis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Bilardistas del Bidón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ainārs Pelnis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Etxepare in the 63rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boca Juniors fully deserved thier win.
