In the 18thth minute of the game Cipriano Pacifico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariano Moreno's Benedicto Acosta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Cipriano Pacifico put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benedicto Acosta. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Pacifico to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Moreno's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Osvaldo Arce scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Acosta, making the score, 0-3. Cipriano Pacifico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Benedicto Acosta made a huge save. If Hipolito Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Acosta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Pacifico went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Benedicto Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pacifico in the 63rd minute of play. Cipriano Pacifico took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Acosta. Benedicto Acosta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 69 minutes into the match, Mariano Moreno's goalkeeper Benedicto Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Pacifico. When Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benedicto Acosta made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cipriano Pacifico sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Hipolito Gartzea threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mariano Moreno's Christian Jobo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Benedicto Acosta threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cipriano Pacifico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benedicto Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Omar Beltza came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Beltza couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mariano Moreno.
