Gerardo Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Enmanuel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cayetano Playo's late challenge caught a Hudson 09 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Playo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leopardi Team getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cayetano Playo hit a great ball. Antonio Pierres came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leopardi Team's Candido Frances. But to his dismay, Candido Frances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nestor Orlandus struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Antonio Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leopardi Team. Hudson 09 FC's Antonio Pierres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Hudson 09 FC from getting a goal against them. After 46 minutes, Elias Gregory mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leopardi Team and the Hudson 09 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leopardi Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hudson 09 FC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrique Sindo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leopardi Team's Gerardo Francis. 1-1.

In the 76th minute, Zeledon Udalaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopardi Team's Candido Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Leopardi Team's Candido Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Pierres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Antonio Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Domeka in the 84th minute of play. Gerardo Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Ordono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leopardi Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodolfo Nel was slow to take the kick. During this time Hudson 09 FC's players had a chance to rest. Rodolfo Nel made a great header on Hudson 09 FC's corner, it was just that Leopardi Team's Gerardo Francis managed to reach the ball for a save. 98 minutes into the match, Candido Frances had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Pierres. Hudson 09 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. There was no doubt that Leopardi Team were the better team. Leopardi Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
