The long shot by Pablo Demesio in the 20th minute really tested Antonio Pierres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Hudson 09 FC booed when Pedernera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Hudson 09 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pedernera AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Justo Jenaro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Ebardo in the 58th minute of play forced Hudson 09 FC's goalkeeper Antonio Pierres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antonio Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ebardo in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Pedernera AFC booed when Hudson 09 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hudson 09 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Ebardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 78 played minutes Pedernera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Aresti. After 81 minutes of play, Pedernera AFC's Casimiro Ebardo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Pierres was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st match minute, Hudson 09 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pedernera AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hudson 09 FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
