Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gogo Pelayo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes, Froilan Hustaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zárate FC and the Fernández AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Froilan Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fernández AFC's Ovidio Petri got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 16th minute, Zárate FC's Gogo Pelayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Bermudo. Anacleto Bermudo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Aquiles Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Anacleto Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Bermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Pelayo in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Jose Eder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Garcia. Zárate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Eder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Fernández AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Pelayo came free, but Anacleto Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulises Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Zárate FC defense, Jose Eder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Garcia. The Zárate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Garcia should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Zárate FC's Gogo Pelayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Bermudo. Anacleto Bermudo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 46 minutes into the game, Jose Eder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Flavio Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Eder was the one to do the kick off. Froilan Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anacleto Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ciriaco Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fernández AFC's goalkeeper Anacleto Bermudo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teo Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Zárate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Eder came free, but Flavio Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Eder in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Zárate FC booed when Fernández AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernández AFC's Anacleto Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Pelayo in the 79th minute of play. Jose Eder was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Fernández AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Teo Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Fernández AFC's Jose Eder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Fernández AFC's Jose Eder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Garcia. Flavio Garcia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Zárate FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Jose Eder scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Garcia, making the score, 2-7. When the match was over Fernández AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zárate FC throughout the match.
