The supporters of Mariano Moreno booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Etxepare kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedicto Acosta. That made the score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. Benedicto Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Eduino in the 63rd minute of play. 0-5 became the score in the 64th minute when Ignacio Etxepare elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mariano Moreno defense, Camilo Ospin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Acosta. The Mariano Moreno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Acosta should have stopped the shot. When Boca Juniors's Ignacio Etxepare in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ignacio Etxepare showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mariano Moreno.
