After a defensive mix-up in Rueda's zone, Prospero Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Madaleno came out of the goal and Prospero Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Gergori who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Arnulfo Madaleno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oscar Sayvion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arnulfo Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Gergori in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnulfo Madaleno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Henrico in the 13th minute of play forced KunDiablo's goalkeeper Aurelio Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rueda's goalkeeper Arnulfo Madaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Henrico hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. KunDiablo's Oscar Sayvion got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Rueda's Gabriel Henry couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KunDiablo. After 22 played minutes, Rueda's Rafael Rios shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Caradaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rueda reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Rueda's Alfonso Aurken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Caradaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aurelio Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Aurken in the 27th minute of the match. Emiliano Salamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arnulfo Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rueda getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Uriel Goito hit a great ball. Aurelio Caradaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Giro in the 34th minute of play. Joel Henrico might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Caradaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Henrico ran back to his position shaking his head. KunDiablo's Aurelio Caradaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Aurken in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Aurken in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Caradaro saved KunDiablo from getting behind. After some careless play in the KunDiablo defense, Joel Henrico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Caradaro. The KunDiablo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Caradaro should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Joel Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Aurken was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, KunDiablo's goalkeeper Aurelio Caradaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Aurken. Uriel Goito kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the KunDiablo defense, Joel Henrico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Caradaro. The KunDiablo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Caradaro should have stopped the shot. If Prospero Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Aurken struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Aurelio Caradaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rueda. Oscar Sayvion hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. KunDiablo's Aurelio Caradaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Aurken in the 66th minute of play. Aurelio Caradaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Henrico in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Fausto Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in KunDiablo's zone, Joel Henrico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Caradaro came out of the goal and Joel Henrico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes KunDiablo got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Sayvion. When Alfonso Aurken came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rueda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Aurken couldn't finish the play. Enrique Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Aurken in the 79th minute of play forced KunDiablo's goalkeeper Aurelio Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Uriel Goito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rueda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KunDiablo the free kick. A collision led to Rueda getting a freekick after 82 minutes play.
