Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) Alfonso Aurken started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arnulfo Madaleno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vendetta FC's Ladislao Gimenez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Gimenez got free with Arnulfo Madaleno in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin James was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Vendetta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rueda:s goal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Rueda. Gabriel Henry stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodolfo Dolfo. 1-1. In the 14th minute, Enrique Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Gimenez didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 18th minute. Vendetta FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 21 played minutes Rueda got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Goito. In the 22nd minute, Zeledon Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ladislao Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Vendetta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Gimenez couldn't finish the play. If Diego Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Madaleno having to interfere. Ladislao Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Arnulfo Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendetta FC. After a rather tough play, Rueda's Guido Checa got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ladislao Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Uriel Goito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Dolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Gimenez to make the kick off. The supporters of Rueda booed when Vendetta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ladislao Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vendetta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Diego Berto scored 4-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Madaleno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ladislao Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rueda's zone, Diego Berto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Madaleno came out of the goal and Diego Berto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rueda getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Enrique Giro hit a great ball. If Enrique Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnulfo Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gimenez in the 75th minute of play. Jimeno Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Madaleno having to interfere. Arnulfo Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Vendetta FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
