Emiliano Matxin made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ladislao Ostots sent off a good shot on target. In the 40thth minute of the game Elias Xabat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carugati Junior's Emiliano Matxin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Xabat in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Matxin saved Carugati Junior from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Lobo was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Ostots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Matxin having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match Tosquita AFC got a corner. Carugati Junior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Osasun ran over to the corner to take the kick. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carugati Junior's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Osasun was slow to take the kick. During this time Tosquita AFC's players had a chance to rest. Tosquita AFC's Artemio Osasun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emiliano Matxin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eustaquio Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Elias Xabat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emiliano Matxin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Carugati Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Xabat came free, but Emiliano Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Bras charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eleuterio Lertxun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Carugati Junior's Ciriaco Ranolfo, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Carugati Junior. If Marco Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Matxin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Xabat went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ladislao Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tosquita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Ostots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tosquita AFC had won after a very even match.
