The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Felipillo in the 4th minute of play forced Lunatic Fringe F.C.'s goalkeeper Bonifacio Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Felipillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lunatic Fringe F.C.'s Bonifacio Luix. Bonifacio Luix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Reynaldo Felipillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bonifacio Luix was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Tiniebra got free with Rodolfo Dolfo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lunatic Fringe F.C.'s Bonifacio Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Berto in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Felipillo in the 21st minute of play forced Lunatic Fringe F.C.'s goalkeeper Bonifacio Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Feliciano Elequemedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vendetta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunatic Fringe F.C. the free kick. In the 28th minute, Rigoberto Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 29th minute of the match Feliciano Elequemedo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Feliciano Elequemedo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Vendetta FC's Feliciano Elequemedo got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 35 played minutes Vendetta FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Jusepe. After 40 minutes of play, Vendetta FC's Jimeno Abastas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Luix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Favila's late challenge caught a Vendetta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Favila helped the player get up and apologised. Lázaro Favila hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Diego Berto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Luix having to make a save. Domingos Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Dolfo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vendetta FC's zone, Ruben Sansone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Dolfo came out of the goal and Ruben Sansone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Berto struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Bonifacio Luix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendetta FC. Bonifacio Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Sansone struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Rodolfo Dolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunatic Fringe F.C.. After 74 minutes, Reynaldo Felipillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vendetta FC and the Lunatic Fringe F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vendetta FC's Reynaldo Felipillo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ruben Sansone struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rodolfo Dolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunatic Fringe F.C.. Julio Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lunatic Fringe F.C.'s Bonifacio Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Berto in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vendetta FC's Reynaldo Felipillo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Domingos Tiniebra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vendetta FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
