In the 7th minute, TransGirl's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Henrico fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 9 minutes into the match, TransGirl's goalkeeper Alessio Flamini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Henrico. Joel Henricos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Alessio Flamini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Melchor Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arnulfo Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Aurken struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Alessio Flamini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rueda. If Joel Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessio Flamini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Aurken in the 26th minute of play. Basilio Frances scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Madaleno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of TransGirl booed when Rueda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Cordarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Madaleno having to interfere.
