Alfredo Estebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Berto went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vendetta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Carolo Johans scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Dolfo, making the score, 1-1. Diego Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Celestino Tabor with Donato Senio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Covadonga's Alfredo Estebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Berto in the 22nd minute of play. Saul Jusepe hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Julio Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Estebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 28th minute, Reynaldo Felipillo made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Estebe. Covadonga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Feliciano Elequemedo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. Francisco Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Rodolfo Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Carolo Johans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Dolfo, 3-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Berto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vendetta FC's Julio Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Eliseo Aurken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Dolfo. Vendetta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Aurken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Eliseo Aurken hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Vendetta FC's Julio Rivas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfredo Estebe but with some difficulty. 74 minutes into the match, Covadonga's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Berto came free, but Alfredo Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Julio Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vendetta FC's protests and gave Julio Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Covadonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Bastian to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes of play, Covadonga's Cayetano Bidari made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Dolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Covadonga getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Carolo Johans hit a great ball. In the 85th match minute, Vendetta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Ostots to maneuver through the defense. Covadonga's Cayetano Bidari couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vendetta FC. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Covadonga's goalkeeper Alfredo Estebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Covadonga's Alfredo Estebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Berto in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Vendetta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Bidari came free, but Rodolfo Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guaberto Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Covadonga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
